NPD was founded in 1953 and for the past half century, NPD
has grown to be one of the 10 largest market research firms in the United
States. They currently have offices and affiliations in 33 countries. As a
market research firm, they provide manufacturers and service providers with
knowledge and information about their market and consumers.
In 1995, the NPD Group conducted its first online research study, which
ultimately led to the inception of a subdivision of NPD that focused on online
research. This branch of the company, NPDOR (NPD Online Research), has initiated
numerous projects via the World Wide Web allowing us to gather the valuable
opinions of consumers worldwide.
All members who participate - from whom they receive a completed survey and meet eligibility requirements of that survey - are eligible for a chance to win the prize associated with that particular study.
